There are many ways you can support Maryland Wing, Civil Air Patrol, whether through direct donations, buying a brick for our memorial garden, or supporting a cadet’s dream of flight. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Donate to the William David Hansen Memorial Scholarship to help cadets gain their love of flying.

William David Hansen gained his love of flying during his time in the Civil Air Patrol, and used his experience in CAP to propel his career in the United States Air Force. Donations to the William David Hansen memorial scholarship will help cadets achieve their dreams through financial assistance for encampment, National Cadet Special Activities, or other cadet activities.

Lt. Col. Phyllis Griffin was a long-time Civil Air Patrol member in Maryland Wing and the Mid-Atlantic Region who dedicated countless hours for decades to working with CAP cadets at encampments, drill team, honor guard, National Cadet Competition, and much more. Donations to this scholarship will help cadets achieve their dreams through financial assistance for encampment, National Cadet Special Activities, or other cadet activities.

Donate to the Lt. Col. Richard Riley Johnson Flight Scholarship fund and help a cadet continue their flight training.

Lt. Col. Richard Riley Johnson, author of Twenty-five Milk Runs,  was an active Maryland Wing member for many years after serving with distinction in World War II (click here for complete biography). Donations to this scholarship will help cadets continue their flight training towards a private pilot certificate once they have soloed.

Col. Bill Parris, Maryland Wing commander, passed away in 2016 after years of sharing his passion for flying with cadets in Maryland Wing.  Your gift will allow his dream to live on by providing flight training to cadets.
